Sung Jinwoo ESPRESTO Figure Unboxing Guide

Quick answer

Unboxing the Banpresto Solo Leveling ESPRESTO Excite Motions Vol. 1 Sung Jinwoo figure is straightforward, but a careful approach prevents damage to the delicate paint and joints.

Unboxing steps

1. Inspect the box before opening: Check the seal and window for any signs of damage or tampering. If the box is crushed, the figure inside may have broken parts. A damaged outer box is a red flag; photograph it before returning.
2. Open the flap and remove the plastic blister: Cut the tape on the top flap, then lift the flap. Slide the clear plastic blister out of the box. Do not pull the figure out while the blister is still inside the box—this can snap the base or limbs.
3. Detach the figure from the blister: Locate the small tabs or twist ties holding the figure in place. Gently untwist or cut the ties with a small pair of scissors. Never yank the figure—you risk breaking the peg or bending the accessory. Save the twist ties in a baggie if you plan to re-box the figure later.
4. Check for protective film on clear parts: Some ESPRESTO figures have a thin plastic film on the base or stand. Peel it off carefully. Missing this step makes the base look cloudy.
5. Assemble any separate parts: Sung Jinwoo's figure may include a separate weapon or effect part. Align the peg with the hole on the hand or base and push gently. If it resists, dip the peg in warm water for 10 seconds to soften the plastic. Forcing a peg can crack the part; heat is safer than brute force.
6. Pose and display: Place the figure on a stable shelf away from direct sunlight. The dynamic pose may make the figure top-heavy; use the included base or a clear stand if needed. Check the balance before leaving the figure unattended on an edge.
