Answers to common questions about the Banpresto Fluffy Puffy Dekusheep & Bakudog II figure, including size, materials, and display tips for My Hero Academia fans.
Quick answer
The Banpresto Fluffy Puffy Dekusheep & Bakudog II is a compact, soft-textured figure set that transforms Deku and Bakugo into sheep and dog mascots. It suits fans who want a cute, space-saving My Hero Academia display piece rather than a realistic scale figure.
Why the Fluffy Puffy style stands out
Fluffy Puffy figures trade detailed sculpting for a fuzzy, plush-like finish and rounded proportions. That makes them less about battle poses and more about character charm. The Dekusheep & Bakudog II set leans into this by giving Midoriya and Bakugo animal forms, which reads as playful rather than heroic. If you already collect standard scale figures, this line works as a lighthearted accent, not a centerpiece.
What the Dekusheep figure actually includes
This listing is for the Dekusheep figure from the set, not both characters. The product photos show the exact figure edition and retail packaging, so check them if you are expecting Bakudog as well. The compact size—about 6 cm tall—means it fits on narrow shelves or a desk edge without dominating the space. That small scale also makes the soft texture more noticeable up close, so it is best viewed from a short distance rather than across a room.
Display and care trade-offs
The fuzzy surface can collect dust, so a quick pass with a soft brush or a gentle blast of air is safer than wiping with a damp cloth. Because the figure is small and lightweight, it can tip over if placed on a high-traffic shelf; a small piece of museum putty under the base helps. Keep it out of direct sunlight to avoid fading, and avoid pressing on the textured areas to preserve the finish.
Common questions about the Dekusheep & Bakudog II figure
- Does this listing include both Dekusheep and Bakudog?
- No. The product is the Dekusheep figure only, as shown in the photos. Bakudog II is sold separately or as part of a different set. Check the product title and images carefully before ordering. If you want both mascots, you will need to find the Bakudog figure separately.
- How big is the figure compared to other Banpresto figures?
- At roughly 6 cm tall, it is much smaller than standard Banpresto prize figures, which often stand 15–20 cm. This makes it closer to a small collectible or a desk accessory than a shelf centerpiece. Plan for a spot where a tiny figure will not get lost among larger items.
- Is the Fluffy Puffy texture fragile?
- The fuzzy surface is designed to be soft but can flatten or pill if rubbed hard. Avoid handling it with rough hands or storing it loose in a bag. A display case or a dust-free shelf keeps the texture looking fresh. Handle it gently and keep it dust-free to maintain the fluffy look.
- Can I display it outdoors or in a sunny room?
- Direct sunlight can fade the colors and degrade the fuzzy material over time. Keep it on an indoor shelf away from windows, or use a UV-filtering display case if your room gets strong sun. Indirect light is safer for long-term color and texture.
- What should I check when it arrives?
- Inspect the fuzzy surface for any flat spots or loose fibers, and confirm the figure stands level on its base. Small variations in texture are normal for this line, but significant bald patches or a warped base are worth reporting to the seller. Do a quick texture and stability check right after unboxing.
